Frequently asked questions.

  • We are a mobile practice, meaning we come to you! We typically see patients within a roughly 15 mile radius of OX16 (North Banbury), however if you are unsure if you are in our area, get in touch and see how we can help.

  • The number of treatments will vary from person to person depending on factors such as the type, severity of injury and how long you have had it.  On average it take between 4 and 8 treatments to get past an initial problem.  Some choose to attend for regular treatment, and others just return as they feel it's necessary.  This will be discussed in the initial consultation and a personalised plan of care will be prescribed before receiving your first treatment. Livvy will often suggest postural advice and suggested exercises to support your care.

  • For the initial consultation we allow up to 1.5 hours and for each follow up we allow up to 40 minutes including time to set up the treatment space.

  • As a mobile chiropractor, we come to you with all we need for treatment- the only thing missing is the room. We can be pretty flexible with the space utilised, but at least ideally you would have a space that is flat, open and free from floor clutter, private from anyone that you don’t want to hear any medical discussion, and covered from the elements in cases of bad weather.

We have treated in a variety of places including a tack room and farmhouse kitchen. If you have any concerns, please discuss this with Livvy when booking in your initial consultation.

  • Initial Appointment: £135

    Follow-up Treatment: £95

  • If you need to move or cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance you can do so by contacting us via phone or email.

If you need to cancel or rearrange less than 48 hours before your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please get in touch as soon as you are able. Failure to attend without notice, or any appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment, may be charged in full.

  • This is a great question and the simple answer is there is no ‘one size fits all’, but I will do my best to find a clinical recommendation that suits you.

Through taking a comprehensive history, talking though your needs, past experiences and aims along with completing a physical assessment I will get a very good idea of how often it might benefit you to visit a chiropractor. This will create your initial plan of care, which I will take you through in the initial consultation before treatment. Once the initial problem has been overcome we sit together and reassess, formulating a plan just for you. In an ideal world my aim is that we all remain pain free and functional between adjustments.

Whether I see you weekly or every few months I will always work with you to find a care plan that suits you perfectly.
